The title of this web log is let soleil pours over you, which means I expect the sun will shine over you in a cold, windy day. That was then when I was shivering in the cold Melbourne. I don't expect as much soleil anymore though, due to the obvious heat in this here land. But it's getting ridiculously too much sun for the past weeks.
It has been like a month* since the last rain drops touch the earth here resulting in ridiculously hot days which is too much to bear for me. Not to mention the smoggy air of Jakarta which refused to clear up even though there are not as much cars as before the long Eid holiday.
The rainy season is supposed to be here already, yet not even a drop of rain fall. I don't know if this is the result of the green house effect that people talk about so much.
* I heard in the Southern Jakarta some rains has already developed. I wonder when they will reach West Jakarta?

Lazy bastard
Globalization faces challenges today on how to lift productive capacities in a sustainable way for the poorest country. Increased FDI, ODA and Remittances, and higher commodity prices seems did not benefit some of the poorest countries. These countries remains marginalized due to some inherent constraints that prevent them to take advantage of globalization... nyah nyah nyah..
Duh, it's Wednesday already and I have to finish this kind of work by the end of the week. Time flies so fast if you don't use it effectively.
My lazy bones, spare me till they finish, OK?

Back to basic
It has been three months since I leave Melbourne. Beautiful city with a lot of great memories, I really hope that I would be back there someday.
Now I am back to my beloved smoggy crowded city of Jakarta. Well kinda have culture shock when I was first step in Jakarta after spent two and a half years in Melbourne. Living there was like a dream. And now back to my reality.
Not much change in Jakarta since two and a half years ago... well except for the new Transjakarta bus lane and a new toll road from Jakarta to Bandung that cut the travel time by almost half.
It's great to be back..

Setelah Mami Pulang
Kembali lagi ke 'good old' Indomie goreng...

Sirik tanda tak mampu
Everybody is always better than me, I can't do it like everybody else...
This kind of thinking can make you degrade yourself into a sorrowful, self-pity slave that leads to a belief that it is true, and then you can forget about moving forward, and stay in mud you’ve created perpetually.
Or on the positive side it can bring humility and protect you to become a bigheaded self-appreciating bastard, ready to abuse other people.
It depends on how you see the situation.
One of my opinions in life is, try think positive for every situation, no matter how deppressing it is. It can make life happier, not only for your self but also others, I believe.
Salute
